All great things start with silly, impulsive ideas, like buying a 1999 Land Rover Defender 90 and thinking you can travel the world in it. And look, here we are.

Long story short
It began with George, our 1999 Land Rover Defender 90, in which we wanted to travel the world. That turned out to be a lot harder than expected. For two years we put time, work and love into him, and it is precisely from that period that Rough Tales grew: our love for the open road became a business.
We see ourselves as a roadie: the people behind the scenes who make sure the show can go on. We take care of the practical side, so you can focus on what matters: making memories.
